మొంథా తుఫాన్ నేపథ్యంలో రంపచోడవరం క్లస్టర్ కు సంబందించిన మహాత్మా గాంధీ జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ పధకం సిబ్బంది అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
ప్రాజెక్ట్ ఆఫీసర్ ITDA బి. స్మరణ్ రాజ్ ఆదేశాలు మరియు డ్వామా ప్రాజెక్ట్ డైరెక్టర్ డి.వి. విద్యాసాగర్ ఆదేశాలు మేరకు ఉపాధి సిబ్బందికి సెలవులు రద్దు చేయడం జరిగిందని, అందరు గ్రామ పంచాయితీకి, మండల కేంద్రానికి అందుబాటులో ఉండాలని,ఉపాధి శ్రామికులకు అవసరాన్ని బట్టి సహాయ సహకారాలు అందించాలని ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసారు.
ఉపాధి హామీ పథకంలో చేపట్టిన పనులు భారీ వర్షాలు కారణంగా దెబ్బతిన్న ఉద్యాన వనపంటలు నష్టపోయిన తక్షణమే సంబందించిన ప్రోగ్రామ్ అధికారికి, డ్వామా APD రంపచోడవరం వారికి సమాచారం అందించాలని కోరుతున్నాము.

Alert MGNREGS Staff Amid ‘Montha Cyclone’ Threat
In light of the approaching Montha Cyclone, DWMA APD Srinivasa Vishwanath has directed all Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) staff under the Rampa Chodavaram cluster to remain on high alert.Following instructions from ITDA Project Officer B. Smaran Raj and DWMA Project Director D.V. Vidyasagar, all official leaves for the MGNREGS field staff have been cancelled. Personnel have been asked to stay available at their respective gram panchayat and mandal headquarters to extend timely assistance to rural workers affected by the weather conditions.Officials emphasized that any damage to horticultural crops or work sites caused by heavy rains should be promptly reported to the concerned program officers and the DWMA APD, Rampa Chodavaram.DWMA APD Vishwanath urged the MGNREGS teams to ensure that necessary relief and support reach the affected workers without delay. He also appealed to residents in low-lying areas to stay vigilant and follow safety advisories issued by local authorities as the cyclone approaches.Local administrations across the district have been placed on standby to handle potential flooding or infrastructure setbacks.
