జిల్లాలోని రవాణా శాఖకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని సేవలు ప్రస్తుతం పూర్తిస్థాయిలో ఆన్లైన్ విధానంలో అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయని జిల్లా రవాణాధికారి ఆర్. సురేష్ (డి.టి.ఓ.) శనివారం ఓ ప్రకటనలో తెలిపారు.
డ్రైవింగ్ లైసెన్సులకు సంబంధించిన సేవలు Sarathi Parivahan వెబ్సైట్ ద్వారా, వాహనాలకు సంబంధించిన రిజిస్ట్రేషన్, టాక్స్, ఇతర సేవలు Vahan Parivahan వెబ్సైట్ ద్వారా పొంద వచ్చునని తెలిపారు.
ప్రజలు నేరుగా ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా గానీ లేదా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తింపు పొందిన మీ సేవ, ఈ సేవ, కామన్ సర్వీస్ సెంటర్ల ద్వారా గానీ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చునని సూచించారు. సంబంధిత రుసుములను కూడా ఆన్లైన్లోనే నేరుగా చెల్లించవచ్చునని వివరించారు.
రవాణాశాఖ సేవల కోసం ఎటువంటి దళారులను సంప్రదించవద్దని, ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తించిన సేవా కేంద్రాల ద్వారానే దరఖాస్తులు చేసుకోవాలని ప్రజలకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ప్రజలకు పారదర్శకంగా, జవాబుదారితనంతో సేవలు అందించడమే తమ లక్ష్యమని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లాలోని కొంతమంది వాహన డీలర్లు క్రొత్త వాహనాల రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ల సందర్భంలో ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించిన రుసుముకంటే ఎక్కువ మొత్తాన్ని వసూలు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఫిర్యాదులు అందుతున్నాయని తెలిపారు. అటువంటి అక్రమ వసూళ్లపై చట్టపరమైన కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు.
ప్రతి షోరూంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వానికి చెల్లించవలసిన వాహన రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ ఫీజు, రోడ్ టాక్స్, సర్వీస్ చార్జీలు మొదలైన పూర్తి వివరాలను వినియోగదారులకు సులభంగా అర్థమయ్యే విధంగా స్పష్టంగా ప్రదర్శించాల్సిందిగా డీలర్లకు ఆదేశించారు. ఆదేశాలను పాటించని పక్షంలో చట్టరీత్యా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
క్రొత్త వాహనం కొనుగోలు సమయంలో ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించిన రుసుముకంటే ఎక్కువ మొత్తాన్ని వసూలు చేసినట్లయితే, సంబంధిత రశీదులతో జిల్లా రవాణాధికారి మొబైల్ నెంబర్ 9281607020 కు సంప్రదించాలని ప్రజలకు సూచించారు. అలాగే రవాణాశాఖ సేవలపై సమాచారం లేదా ఫిర్యాదుల కోసం నేరుగా కార్యాలయాన్ని సంప్రదించవచ్చునని తెలిపారు. ప్రజల నమ్మకాన్ని నిలబెట్టే విధంగా, పారదర్శకంగా మరియు బాధ్యతా యుతంగా రవాణాశాఖ సేవలు అందించనున్నట్లు జిల్లా రవాణాధికారి ఆర్. సురేష్ వెల్లడించారు.
Transport Services Go Fully Online in Rajamahendravaram
All transport department services in East Godavari district are now fully available online, District Transport Officer (DTO) R. Suresh announced on Saturday. He urged the public to avoid touts and use official portals for transparent, accountable services.
Driving licence-related services can be accessed via the Sarathi Parivahan website, while vehicle registration, tax, and other services are offered through Vahan Parivahan. Applications can be submitted directly online or via AP government-approved Mee Seva and Common Service Centres, with fees payable digitally. “Our goal is to deliver services transparently and responsibly,” Suresh emphasized.
He warned against approaching middlemen for any transport services, stressing the use of authorized centres only. Complaints have surfaced about some vehicle dealers in the district charging excess fees for new vehicle registrations beyond government rates. Strict legal action will be taken against such malpractices, he cautioned.
Dealers have been directed to prominently display full details of registration fees, road tax, and service charges in showrooms in an easy-to-understand format. Non-compliance will invite legal consequences. Customers overcharged during new vehicle purchases should contact the DTO’s mobile number 9281607020 with receipts, Suresh advised.
The officer reassured that the department is committed to building public trust through seamless, graft-free services. For queries or complaints, citizens can reach out directly to the transport office. This digital push aims to eliminate delays and exploitation, ensuring hassle-free access for all vehicle owners.
