🔴 Konaseema district : Kothapeta : THE DESK :

Sushma Kesavarapu from Kothapeta constituency in Konaseema district said that housewives are expecting a people-friendly Union Budget from the Honorable Finance Minister. She stated that the Budget should focus on reducing household expenses, strengthening family savings, and improving healthcare and education facilities to ensure financial security for families.

She said that any reduction in GST on essential household goods would be a major relief for housewives. They are also hoping for tax relief for middle-class families, which would increase disposable income and help them manage education, healthcare, and daily expenses more comfortably.

Sushma Kesavarapu further said that housewives expect the Budget to be public-friendly by introducing better health insurance schemes, improving hospital facilities, and ensuring the availability of affordable medicines.

Speaking about women’s welfare, she urged the government to introduce more women empowerment programmes, healthcare development schemes, and support for small businesses and home-based enterprises by providing easy loans and financial assistance.

She added that housewives are also hoping that this Budget will help control price rise and reduce the cost of essential daily commodities such as rice, cooking oil, vegetables, LPG cylinders, and electricity.
