గత ఐదేళ్లలో సంప్రదాయ పరిశ్రమల పునరుత్పత్తి నిధి పథకం (SFURTI) కింద దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన క్లస్టర్లతో చేనేత, ఇతర చేతివృత్తుల కళాకారులకు భారీగా లబ్ది చేకూరిందని కేంద్ర సూక్ష్మ, చిన్న తరహా పరిశ్రమల శాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి శోభా కరంద్లజే చెప్పారు. చేతివృత్తులకు సంబంధించిన చిన్న తరహా పరిశ్రమలు, చేనేత క్లస్టర్ల ఏర్పాటుపై ఏలూరు ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు గురువారం లోక్ సభలో కేంద్రమంత్రి సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు.
సంప్రదాయ పరిశ్రమల పునరుత్పత్తి నిధి పథకం (SFURTI) కింద 2022 వరకూ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 380 క్లస్టర్లకు అనుమతులు ఇవ్వగా ఇందులో 261 క్లస్టర్లు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో పనిచేస్తున్నాయని, మరో 119 క్లస్టర్ల ఏర్పాటు పనులు తుది దశలో ఉన్నాయని మంత్రి వివరించారు. ఈ క్లస్టర్ల ద్వారా మొత్తం 3,35,318 మంది చేనేత, ఇతర చేతివృత్తుల కళాకారులకు లబ్ది చేకూరిందన్నారు. వీరిలో 2,18,482 మంది పురుషులు 1,16,836 మహిళలు ఉన్నారన్నారు.
ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ కు సంబంధించి వివరాలు కోరుతూ ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు కేంద్ర మంత్రి సమాధానం ఇస్తూ.. బాపట్ల, తూర్పు గోదావరి, గుంటూరు, విశాఖపట్నం, విజయనగరం, కడప జిల్లాల్లో క్లస్టర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయటం జరిగిందన్నారు. ఈ 6 జిల్లాల్లో మొత్తం 10 సాంప్రదాయ చేతివృత్తుల, చేనేత క్లస్టర్లు ఉన్నాయని కేంద్ర మంత్రి తెలిపారు. వీటి ద్వారా 8,492 మంది వృత్తి పనివారలకు లబ్ది చేకూరగా వీరిలో 2,950 మంది మహిళలు ఉన్నారన్నారు. ఈ క్లస్టర్ల ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలో 7,175 మందికి ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు లభించాయని మంత్రి శోభా కరంద్లజే వెల్లడించారు.
దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ఈ తరహా క్లస్టర్ల ఏర్పాటు ద్వారా మొత్తంగా 1,45,718 మందికి ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు లభించాయని కేంద్ర మంత్రి వివరించారు. ఏలూరు జిల్లాకు సంబంధించి క్లస్టర్ ఏర్పాటు ప్రతిపాదన ఏదీ గత ఐదేళ్లలో కేంద్రం వద్దకు రాలేదని మంత్రి కరంద్లజే స్పష్టం చేశారు.
Massive Employment through Traditional Handicrafts Clusters

Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shobha Karandlaje, stated that weavers and other artisans have benefited significantly from the clusters established across the country under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) over the past five years. The Union Minister gave this reply in the Lok Sabha on Thursday to a question asked by Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar regarding the establishment of small-scale industries and handloom clusters related to handicrafts.
The Minister explained that under the SFURTI scheme, approvals were given for 380 clusters across the country until 2022, of which 261 clusters are fully operational, and the establishment work of another 119 clusters is in the final stages. She said that a total of 3,35,318 weavers and other artisans have benefited through these clusters. Of these, 2,18,482 are men and 1,16,836 are women.
Responding to a question from MP Putta Mahesh Kumar seeking details regarding Andhra Pradesh, the Union Minister stated that clusters have been established in Bapatla, East Godavari, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Kadapa districts. The Union Minister stated that there are a total of 10 traditional handicraft and handloom clusters in these 6 districts. These clusters have benefited 8,492 artisans, including 2,950 women. Minister Shobha Karandlaje revealed that these clusters have provided employment opportunities to 7,175 people in the state.
The Union Minister explained that the establishment of such clusters across the country has provided employment opportunities to a total of 1,45,718 people. Minister Karandlaje clarified that no proposal for the establishment of a cluster in Eluru district has been received by the central government in the last five years.
