భారత ప్రభుత్వం – ఆరోగ్య మరియు కుటుంబ సంక్షేమ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ (MoHFW) ఆధ్వర్యంలో, భారత ఆహార భద్రత మరియు ప్రమాణాల సంస్థ (FSSAI) సహకారంతో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అమలులో ఉన్న ఫోస్టాక్ (FoSTaC – Food Safety Training and Certification) కార్యక్రమం కింద నర్సాపురం పార్లమెంటరీ నియోజకవర్గంలో వీధి ఆహార విక్రేతల కోసం భారీ స్థాయి శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని FSSAI ఆమోదిత శిక్షణ భాగస్వామి అయిన ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ ఇండియా ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ నిర్వహిస్తోంది. వీధి ఆహార విక్రేతల్లో ఆహార పరిశుభ్రత, భద్రత, నాణ్యత ప్రమాణాలపై అవగాహన పెంపొందించడంతో పాటు వారి జీవనోపాధిని మెరుగుపరచడమే ఈ కార్యక్రమం ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశ్యం.
ఈ శిక్షణలో 1,000 మందికి పైగా వీధి ఆహార విక్రేతలకు ఫోస్టాక్ మార్గదర్శకాల ప్రకారం శిక్షణ మరియు సర్టిఫికేషన్ అందించనున్నారు. భద్రమైన ఆహార తయారీ విధానాలు, వ్యక్తిగత పరిశుభ్రత, పరిశుభ్ర వంట పద్ధతులు మరియు ఆహార భద్రత నిబంధనలపై అవగాహన కల్పించనున్నారు.

Mass FoSTaC Training Boosts Food Safety for Bhimavaram Street Vendors
Over 1,000 street food vendors in Bhimavaram constituency will receive comprehensive Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) under a massive program launched by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Organized by FSSAI-approved partner Food Safety India Pvt Ltd, the initiative targets Narsapuram parliamentary constituency to enhance vendors’ awareness of food hygiene, safety standards, and quality practices. Training covers safe food preparation, personal hygiene, clean cooking methods, and regulatory compliance, aiming to improve livelihoods while ensuring public health. Narsapuram MP Bhupati Raju Srinivas Varma is the chief guest, set to inaugurate the event and underscore the central government’s commitment to food security.
Key highlights include FoSTaC certification, distribution of hygiene kits, ID cards, awareness materials, and promotion of the Eat Right India campaign. Local health officials and public representatives will participate.
Food Safety India Executive Director Dr. Anjaneyulu Chaganti and Municipal Commissioner K. Ramachandra Reddy emphasized the program’s role in delivering safe, hygienic street food and dignified livelihoods. “This is a step toward a healthier India,” they stated.
