Ever since the establishment of TGANB, the sleuths of TGANB have been tracking the offenders both domestic and international and were successful in nabbing them and curtailing their activities in the state of Telangana. Owing to the continuous pursuance and tracking, most of the offenders who were seeking shelter in Telangana and operating here have either left Telangana or cut down their activities.Apart from regular tracking of drug offenders, the Technical Wing of TGANB has stepped up surveillance over online marketing of drugs. In a recent achievement, the Technical Wing of TGANB have successfully tracked and cracked down a network that is active over “Darkweb” and delivering the drugs to customers over speed post. Over the input provided by the Technical Wing of TGANB, the sleuths of RNCC Khammam with the assistance of Khammam II Town Police nabbed a consumer, a Software Engineer of Khammam town. The said person had placed an order over DarkWeb on 31.07.2024 and ensured payment for such order over cryptocurrency . The vendor of the said “Darkweb” delivered the required drug to the above mentioned customer from Silpukhuri of Assam state through Speed Post and shared the Consignment number to the said person. The sleuths of RNCC Khammam kept track of the consignment and were successful in nabbing the said person red-handedly when he received the consignment at his residence on 08.08.2024 through Speed post. The Drug was concealed under brown tape on the newspaper.Further, the sleuths of RNCC Khammam along with the local police dig deep into the circumstances that led to the said person for getting addicted to drugs and dealt with him in a humanely manner, keeping in mind his future career counselled him and his parents and promised them of every help from the TGANB to get the said person come out of the menace.Further, a strict watch will be continued on the “Darkweb” to break this chain and other such chains which are operating clandestinely.
